This application, "Japanese Literature Summaries" (Japanese title: あらすじで読む日本文学), does not directly collect any personal information from users. No account is required, and the app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal details.
This app uses a third-party advertising service (Google AdMob). For the purpose of delivering advertisements, the ad provider may collect device information and advertising identifiers.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time from your device's Settings → Google → Ads.
If you live in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform when you first launch it, asking for your consent to the use of cookies and device identifiers for advertising, as required by the GDPR and UK GDPR. You can review and change your choices at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy Settings. If you do not give consent, the app simply shows no ads — every feature remains free to use.
If you live in a US state with an applicable privacy law (such as the CCPA/CPRA in California), the app may show a message that lets you opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by those laws.
The following data created while using the app is stored only on your device. We operate no servers, and none of this data is ever sent to us or to any third party.
All of this data is deleted when you uninstall the app. Downloaded texts can also be deleted individually or all at once from Settings → Data Management inside the app.
Through Android's standard Auto Backup feature, your app settings, favorites, browsing history, and reading records may be saved to your own Google account's backup storage. This is an Android feature for transferring your data when you switch devices; the backup belongs to your Google account, and we have no access to its contents. You can enable or disable backup in your device settings. Downloaded book texts are excluded from backup because of their size.
Apart from displaying ads, the app connects to external sites only when you take an action.
These connections may result in general communication data, such as your IP address, being logged by the destination site. All works included in the app are in the public domain (their copyright terms have expired), and the texts are provided by Aozora Bunko, a Japanese digital library.
The app's read-aloud feature uses the text-to-speech (TTS) engine installed on your device. The app never records or stores the synthesized audio. Note that depending on your device's TTS engine, the text to be read may be sent to the engine provider's servers (such as Google) for speech synthesis. Whether this happens, and how the data is handled, is governed by your device's TTS settings and the engine provider's privacy policy.
The app requires only the following permissions. It never requests access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files.
This policy may be revised in response to legal changes or new app features. Significant changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

米国のプライバシー州法（カリフォルニア州の CCPA/CPRA など）の対象地域にお住まいの方には、 同じ仕組みで、これらの法律が定める個人情報の「販売」「共有」のオプトアウトに関する メッセージを表示することがあります。
本アプリの利用にともなって作成される次の情報は、すべてお使いの端末内にのみ保存されます。 当方のサーバーは存在せず、これらが当方や第三者へ送信されることはありません。
これらはアプリを削除すると同時に失われます。 ダウンロードした本文は、アプリ内の「設定」→「データ管理」からいつでも個別に、または一括で削除できます。
Android の標準機能（自動バックアップ）により、アプリの設定・お気に入り・閲覧履歴・読書記録は、 お使いの Google アカウントのバックアップ領域へ保存されることがあります。 これは端末を買い替えたときに記録を引き継ぐための Android の機能で、保存先はユーザーご自身の Google アカウントであり、当方がその内容を閲覧することはできません。 バックアップの有効・無効は端末の「設定」から変更できます。 なお、ダウンロードした本文はデータ量が大きいためバックアップの対象外としています。
本アプリは、広告の表示を除き、ユーザーが操作したときにのみ外部サイトへ接続します。
これらの接続にともない、IP アドレスなどの一般的な通信情報が接続先に記録される場合があります。 なお、収録している作品はいずれも著作権保護期間の満了した作品で、青空文庫の公開データを利用しています。
本アプリの読み上げ機能は、お使いの端末にインストールされているテキスト読み上げ（TTS）機能を利用します。 本アプリが読み上げた音声を録音・保存することはありません。 ただし、端末の読み上げエンジンによっては、音声を合成するために読み上げ対象の文章が そのエンジンの提供元（Google など）のサーバーへ送信される場合があります。 送信の有無や取り扱いは、端末の読み上げエンジンの設定およびその提供元のプライバシーポリシーに従います。
本アプリが必要とする権限は次のとおりです。 位置情報・連絡先・カメラ・マイク・写真・ファイルなどへのアクセス権限は一切要求しません。
本ポリシーの内容は、法令の変更やアプリの機能追加にともなって改定されることがあります。 重要な変更がある場合は、本ページの最終更新日を改めたうえで掲載します。
